Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy for non-sale, non-seasonal and non-custom items, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Returns are issued as a store credit minus shipping costs.. After 14 days, there will be a 20% restocking fee for returned items.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please note that shipping and handling charges are not refundable. 

To start a return, you can contact us at cottageshopsav@gmail.com.  If your return requested is accepted, we will communicate instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If we are not notified within 7 business days, unfortunately, we are unable to file a claim with our shipping partners.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Seasonal items, sale items, and custom items are final sale. Items purchased on sale / at a discount are non-returnable. . All sales are final for the following: items purchased on sale/ at a discount, perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items, including monogrammed items and printed stationery / invitations), and personal care goods (such as lotions & soaps). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on custom, seasonal, sale items or gift cards.

Items and products special ordered for or by brides, including china, dinnerware, crystal, glassware and serving pieces are final sale. Gift Certificates and Bridal Credits

Brides have two (2) years from their wedding date to use wedding gift certificates and bridal credits. Please note that wedding gift certificates and bridal credits expire 2 years from the wedding date.

Non-wedding gift certificates have a 1-year expiration date, which is clearly noted on the certificate. All of our gift certificates and bridal credits have a written expiration date on the card. Should you have any questions, please contact us at: cottageshopsav@gmail.com
